Helen, Jackie's friend, drove us to the airport. Before that we went for a morning walk at The Gorge which is her favourite place on Tasmania:)

Day 69

In the morning we went trekking at Cradle Mountain on the Dove Lake Circuit.
Back at Jackie's for our last night. 
Jackie invited all three of us to pizza at Ros's place where we met a lot of local people. This was the perfect way to say goodbye to Tasmania, thank you everyone!

We met a wild Wombat when we arrived in Patrimonio Mundial national park! It's another animal that I have never seen before. If you don't know it it's a plant-eating Australian marsupial that resembles a small bear with short legs

Regitse went to look for water and she succeeded!



Nina and Simon (their blue van is parked in the back) who we met in Binalong Bay joined us for a talk and a bush walk to look for animals at night!

Day 67

Watch out for Echidna's! We saw an Echidna at Lake St. Claire when we went for a walk



Today we have a long 300 km's drive ahead of us through the mountains. Destination: Strahan on the west coast

Day 66

 
This is the stairways leading into MONA, the Museum of Old and New Art, that just opened a new exhibition called Monanism. The exhibition contains millionaire David Walsh's favourite works that "represent him and present him to the worlds for interest, outage or indifference". The museum is set into a peninsular at Berriedale on the Derwent Rive and build into sandstone which makes the experience even more interesting!

After the visit to MONA we went back to Hobart city Looking for second hand tapes for our van!
In the evening we went to a cricket game in Bellerive Oval to see a semifinal between Tasmanian Tigers and New South Wales - NSW wins (soon to be my new home!)
There is no queue at the women's toilet - go cricket!
