Day 77

I live in the suburb Ultimo which is just at Glebe, what people call Sydney's bohemian village. Today I went for a walk in the area  with Anna and Trine and we quickly fell in love with it! It's one of Sydney's oldest residents area with a mix of university students, professionals and artists and a variety of restaurants, cafe culture, bars featuring live music and comedy, specialised bookshops, home furnishing shops, art galleries and heritage listed buildings. As a vibrant, lively place Glebe also has one of the longest running markets in Sydney with second hand, creative designs and lovely food - we made a lot of good bargains:) The Glebe Market is on every Saturday and with no possibility of doubt this will be one of my favourite to-dos in Sydney!

Day 74

My roommate Trine from Denmark arrived! I was of course very excited because this was the first time to meet her in person. We went for a beautiful evening walk in our neighborhood, Sydney Fishmarket and Darling Harbour. I'm positive that we are going to have an awesome time here in Sydney. Trine and I will be sharing a medium-twin apartment (means that we'll be sleeping in the same room but have our own TV and study area, bathroom and small kitchen plus free access to a rooftop, swimmingpool and fitness) in Broadway for 340$ per week (about 8000 Dkk per month). I found the apartment in January and got it on sale (normal price 519$ per week) - so this is actually a good price for Sydney!
