1.6.11

Day 186

Trine and I visited the exhibition 'LET'S FACE IT'.

I think the portraits were really strong because they told the story of  the survivors from the Kinchela Boys Home. From 1924 until 1970, between 400 and 600 Aboriginal boys were forcibly removed from their families and placed on the NSW mid north coast

31.5.11

Day 185

My Danish friend Jesper and I managed to get tickets for The Cure concert in The Opera House! The day before the concert we were offered $1000 for our ticket that we only payed $150 for (but we still went - call me crazy!!!)

The coloured light in Sydney Opera House was amazing - and of course the sound!

The concert was named 'Reflections' and they played their 3 first albums: 'Three Imaginary Boys' (1979), 'Seventeen Seconds' (1980) and 'Faith' (1981) plus some of their newer material and hits such as 'Boys Don't Cry'
