This is the stairways leading into MONA, the Museum of Old and New Art, that just opened a new exhibition called Monanism. The exhibition contains millionaire David Walsh's favourite works that "represent him and present him to the worlds for interest, outage or indifference". The museum is set into a peninsular at Berriedale on the Derwent Rive and build into sandstone which makes the experience even more interesting!

 At the entrance they handed out an iPod - "We don’t have labels on the wall. We have The O. Use it to read about the art on display and to listen to interviews with the artists. It’s free." After the visit to MONA we went back to Hobart city Looking for second hand tapes for our van!
In the evening we went to a cricket game in Bellerive Oval to see a semifinal between Tasmanian Tigers and New South Wales - NSW wins (soon to be my new home!)
There is no queue at the women's toilet - go cricket!
