Day 39

Together with Anna (the Swedish girl I met in New Zealand) I went to work and surf at a camp near Seal Rocks at the east coast. The surf camp is a part of Waves Surf School that makes tours from Sydney to Byron Bay. We stayed at The Hill House about 5 minutes walk from the camp together with some other helpers and the instructors. Every morning we got up at 6 o’clock to clean and make breakfast. After a day of surfing we would clean the bus or the jeep, help with the dinner and clean up afterwards. The surfer life is tough: I got burning marks from the board and sore muscles – but it feels good and it must be the closest I get to the Australian surfer life style!
PS I lost all my photos from my Byron Bay trip! Too bad:(
