The glorious sunrise over
Uluru was a great reward for getting up early on a very cold morning!
We walked around the rock and also had an Aboriginal guide with an
interpretive with us. She told us the story about the Mala people and
their sacred places of the rock. Out of respect for the Aboriginal
people we decided not to climb the rock, unlike many other tourists!
At night we went to Watarrka National Park, Kings Canyon to make fire
and camp for the night.
